The OPT-RCxxyy-111 Room Controller lets you manage lighting, shutter/blind, fan-coil and valve control from a single KNX device. With input/output options ranging from 4+4 to 14+16, it integrates seamlessly into room automation applications of any size — from small offices to large-scale commercial spaces.

Versatile Input and Output Structure

Dry contact inputs can be configured as Switch Sensor, Shutter/Blinds Sensor, Dimmer Sensor, Value Sender or Array Value Sender. Bistable relay outputs support switching, shutter/blind, 3-Point Valve and Fan-Coil applications. Grey terminals are dedicated to inputs and orange terminals to outputs, keeping field wiring intuitive and organized.

Integrated RTC and Logic Functions

Built-in real-time clock (RTC) and Logic Functions support room temperature control and independent logic scenarios. Internal control scenarios between inputs and outputs can also be operated without a KNX bus line by supplying 24–30 V DC through the KNX input.

Manual Control and LED Monitoring

Input and output states can be monitored at a glance via LED indicators. The manual mode button and function control keys enable local intervention on site. The OPT-RC1416-111 model offers dedicated input and output monitoring modes for more detailed field supervision.

Easy Mounting and ETS Configuration

Designed for DIN rail mounting in indoor distribution boards, all parameters are configured via ETS and physical addressing is performed using the programming button. The maintenance-free design and compact footprint simplify installation throughout.
