Optimus Solutions Showcased Its Comprehensive Portfolio to the Smart Building World at Light + Building 2026 Frankfurt

At this flagship event, which hosted over 2,700 companies and welcomed more than 220,000 professional visitors from around the world, Optimus Solutions delivered a comprehensive showcase featuring its KNX-based solutions, wireless automation ecosystem, and integrated building control systems.

Next-Generation Engineering in the KNX Portfolio

At Light + Building 2026, Optimus Solutions went beyond its standard product range, unveiling its latest engineering innovations within the KNX portfolio. Key highlights that attracted strong visitor interest included:

  • Room Controller Modules: Delivering full room-level control with a compact design, configurable architecture, and seamless integration into modern installations.
  • KNX–DALI Gateway Solutions: Enabling precise bridging between lighting and automation systems, ensuring powerful integration of both ecosystems.
  • EDGE Automation Switch Series: Combining advanced KNX functionality with refined aesthetics, available in multiple colors and configurations including white, black, anthracite, metal grey, and touch black.
  • Multi Sensor Family: Offering high-precision presence detection and environmental measurement with variants for standard, corridor, high-ceiling, and large-area applications.
  • Combined Actuator Series: Scalable from 4 to 24 channels, providing full flexibility across projects of varying sizes.

Together, these solutions enable synchronized management of lighting, HVAC, shading, and energy systems under a single KNX infrastructure—bringing flexibility, reliability, and sustainability to modern building projects.

Wireless Ecosystem: Full Control for Retrofit and Hybrid Projects

Not every building starts from scratch—and Optimus Solutions embraces this reality. The wireless automation ecosystem presented at L+B 2026 enables smart control across both new constructions and retrofit projects.

By integrating dimming, switching, blind control, temperature management, and presence detection into a single platform—without the need for additional cabling—this ecosystem offers system integrators and project developers maximum design flexibility and ease of implementation. Live demonstrations showcased seamless interoperability between wireless systems and KNX.

Integrated Solutions for Lighting and Energy Automation

Optimus Solutions’ lighting automation and energy monitoring solutions aligned perfectly with the “Sustainable Transformation” theme of L+B 2026. Through KNX–DALI integration, advanced functionalities such as scene control, daylight harvesting, and presence-based dimming were demonstrated.

On the HVAC side, the platform enabled direct integration with leading air conditioning systems including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Samsung.

These solutions empower building operators with real-time energy analytics and centralized control—ensuring buildings are not only smart, but truly efficient.

20 Years of Engineering Excellence on the Global Stage

As one of only seven members within the KNX Association developing its own KNX Stack, Optimus Solutions once again demonstrated its unique position to international stakeholders at L+B 2026.

Managing the entire development lifecycle in-house—from hardware design to firmware, KNX stack, and application layer—creates a strong competitive advantage in terms of product consistency, long-term support, and market reliability.

Throughout the exhibition, strategic meetings with system integrators, regional distributors, and large-scale project partners laid the foundation for long-term technical collaborations across Europe and global markets.

Building the Future, Today

Light + Building 2026 Frankfurt marked a significant milestone for Optimus Solutions, reinforcing its international growth ambitions, engineering-driven product vision, and multi-layered expertise in smart building technologies.

We sincerely thank all visitors, valued partners, and industry professionals who visited our stand. Together, we continue to build the sustainable and intelligent buildings of the future—starting today.
